2024–25 Minnesota Timberwolves Season
The 2024–25 Minnesota Timberwolves season was the 36th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). This season was also the first season since the 2014–15 season without Karl-Anthony Towns on the roster as he was traded to the New York Knicks in a 3-team trade exchange for Julius Randle, guard Donte DiVincenzo, forward Keita Bates-Diop and a future first-round pick via the Charlotte Hornets. On April 13, the Timberwolves clinched their fourth consecutive playoff berth following their victory over the Utah Jazz. Being the sixth seed in the West, they were underdogs against the third seed Los Angeles Lakers in the first round, but ended up upsetting the Lakers in five games, marking the first time in franchise history they won a playoff round in consecutive seasons. 2014–15 Minnesota Timberwolves Season
The 2014–15 Minnesota Timberwolves season was the 26th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Timberwolves finished with the worst record in the league at 16–66 and missed the NBA Playoffs for the 11th straight year. For the first time since 2007–08 season, Kevin Love was not on the roster as he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, and their future first round picks. Despite not making the playoffs, Andrew Wiggins won the NBA Rookie of the Year. Flip Saunders returned to the Timberwolves' head coach on his second stint. Saunders was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in August 2015 and he died two months later on October 25, 2015, at the age of 60. KMSP-TV (channel 9) is a television station licensed to Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, serving the Twin Cities area. It is owned and operated by the Fox network through its Fox Television Stations division alongside WFTC (channel 9.2), which broadcasts MyNetworkTV. The two stations share studios on Viking Drive in Eden Prairie; KMSP-TV's transmitter is located in Shoreview, Minnesota. A coxless four, abbreviated as a 4- and also called a straight four, is a racing shell used in the sport of competitive rowing. It is designed for four persons who propel the boat with sweep oars, without a coxswain. The crew consists of four rowers, each having one oar. There are two rowers on the stroke side (rower's right hand side) and two on the bow side (rower's lefthand side). As there is no coxswain, the rudder is controlled by one of the crew, normally with the rudder cable attached to the toe of one of their shoes which can pivot about the ball of the foot, moving the cable left or right. Owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, it is sister to Saint Paul–licensed ABC affiliate and company flagship KSTP-TV (channel 5), and radio stations KSTP (1500 AM), KSTP-FM (94.5), and KTMY (107.1 FM).
