List Of Mass Stabbings In Germany
This is an incomplete list of mass stabbings in Germany. The casualty figures of mass stabbings below include violence-related deaths and injuries with knife, hatchet and spear respectively, casualty inflicted by legal intervention (i.e., deaths caused by law enforcement and other persons with legal authority to use deadly force acting in the line of duty), as well as suicide. The list is incomplete, because as of 2023, there are no federal statistics on stabbings in Germany available (unlike in the United States, for example). However, data from the police crime statistics of individual German states show that in several states the number of stabbings increased from 2013 to 2018 by over 30%. In 2020 alone, there were at least 100 deaths from nearly 20,000 knife attacks. Treuchtlingen
Treuchtlingen is a town in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, in Bavaria, Germany. It has a population of around 12,000. History The spot where the town is situated was first settled by Celts, Romans and Franks. The town proper was founded in 793, during the reign of Charlemagne, and it was first mentioned in 899, as ''Drutelinga''. In the 12th century the castle was erected. In 1495 Treuchtlingen was burnt down. In 1869 the train station was opened. On 23 February 1945 at 11:00 clock an air raid on the station Treuchtlingen (Operation Clarion) took place, in which the Fronturlauberzug SF 2046 just stopped. The passengers of the train fled into the platform underpass, which received a direct hit.300 people died in the platform underpass, a total of nearly 600 people were killed and another 900 injured in the station and the surrounding area. Doner kebab (, ; tr, döner or , ), also spelled döner kebab, is a type of kebab, made of meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Grafing Station
Grafing station (german: Grafing Bahnhof, rather than ''Bahnhof Grafing'', because it serves the town but is not located in it) is a station in the Bavarian town of Grafing and a station of the Munich S-Bahn. There is also the S-Bahn station of ''Grafing Stadt'' ("Grafing town") in central Grafing. The station has six platform tracks and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station.
