''Charlie Ve'hetzi'' (a.k.a. - ''Charlie and a Half''; Hebrew צ'ארלי וחצי) is a 1974 Israeli comedy film by Boaz Davidson. It stars Israeli comedians Yehuda Barkan and Ze'ev Revach. Plot Charlie gets by through fleecing suckers with a three-card Monte. He passes himself off as a rich businessman. Miko is a street kid who spends his time with Charlie instead of going to school. Boaz Davidson (, ; born 8 November 1943) is an Israeli film director, film producer, producer and screenwriter. He was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and studied film in London at London Film School. Biography Davidson was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a Jewish family. He started his career by directing the television show ''Lool'' (1969) and the music documentary ''Shablul'' (1970). Later he directed Israeli cult films such as ''Charlie Ve'hetzi'' (1974) and ''Hagiga B'Snuker'' (1975). In 1974 he directed the film ''Mishpahat Tzan'ani''. Jason Danino-Holt (; born 17 January 1987) is an Israeli theatre maker, artistic director, writer, and performer and former television presenter for MTV Europe and i24news English. Early life Danino-Holt was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a Moroccan French-Canadian mother, Chantal Danino, and a British father, Martin Holt. Raised in a trilingual home, he attended summer school in Cambridge at age 12. He attended Teva School for Nature in Jaffa, following by theatre studies at the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts and later trained at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio (2007–2010). Eddie Carmel
Eddie Carmel (born Oded Ha-Carmeili, ; March 16, 1936 – August 14, 1972) was an American entertainer, born in British Mandate Palestine (later the State of Israel) with gigantism and subsequent acromegaly resulting from a pituitary adenoma. He was popularly known as "The Jewish Giant", "The Happy Giant," and "The World's Biggest Cowboy." Carmel was listed by the ''Guinness Book of World Records'' as tall, and billed at the heights of and tall, though he may have more realistically been around tall. He was variously a mutual funds salesman, carnival sideshow act, film actor, rock and roll band singer, and stand-up comedian. Heinz Bernard
Heinz Bernhard Löwenstein, known as Heinz Bernard (22 December 1923 – 18 December 1994) was a British actor and director and theatre manager. Of Polish-Jewish and German-Jewish descent, he lived and worked in Israel from 1971-81. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), graduating in 1951. After graduation, he worked in a group of travelling players throughout Britain, performing every night in different towns and villages. He went on to become the manager of the famous leftist Unity Theatre, London. As manager of Unity Theatre he staged the first professional British production of a Brecht play, ''The Visions of Simone Machard''.
