Geoscience
Earth science or geoscience includes all fields of natural science related to the planet Earth. This is a branch of science dealing with the physical, chemical, and biological complex constitutions and synergistic linkages of Earth's four spheres: the biosphere, hydrosphere/cryosphere, atmosphere, and geosphere (or lithosphere). Earth science can be considered to be a branch of planetary science but with a much older history. Geology Geology is broadly the study of Earth's structure, substance, and processes. Crystallographic Society Of Japan

It was established on May 13, 1950 with Shoji Nishikawa as the founding president, and it is an independent academic society. Centre For Earthquake Studies
The Centre for Earthquake Studies (CES) () is a federally funded research institute and national laboratory dedicated to the advancement in understanding of natural vibration, seismology, and yield-based energy measurement of seismic waves. The CES was established through federal funding as a direct response to the devastating 2005 Kashmir earthquake in order to understand earthquakes and provide scientific prediction of quakes to improve earthquake preparedness. The CES is the only national site in Pakistan working on earthquake precursors. The national laboratory is headquartered in the campus area of the National Centre for Physics (NCP) and conducts mathematical research in earth sciences, in close coordination with the NCP. Nigerian Geological Survey Agency
The Mines and Steel Development Ministry is a Nigerian ministry established in 1985 to encourage development of the country's solid mineral resources. The Ministry formulates policy, provides information on mining potential and production, regulates operations and generates revenue for the government. Operational departments include Mining cadastre (records of mine locations, ownership etc.), Geological survey of Nigeria, Mines inspectorate, Artisanal and small-scale mining and Mining environment. Geological Survey Of Tanzania
The Geological Survey of Tanzania or GST (''Uchiunguzi wa Jiolojia wa Tanzania'' in Swahili) is a scientific department under the Tanzanian government. The scientists of the GST investigate the landscape of Tanzania, as well as its natural resources and potential hazards. The work of the organization is interdisciplinary and includes biology, geography, geology, and hydrology. The GST is a fact-finding scientific group without that works with the Ministry of Minerals. OneGeology
OneGeology is an international collaborative project in the field of geology supported by 118 countries, UNESCO, and major global geoscience bodies. It is an International Year of Planet Earth flagship initiative that aims to enable online access to dynamic digital geological map of the world for everyone. The project uses the GeoSciML markup language and initially targets a scale of approximately 1:1 million. Downstream uses could be to identify areas suitable for mining, oil and gas exploration or areas at risk from landslides or earthquakes, to help understanding of formations which store groundwater for drinking or irrigation, and to help locate porous rocks suitable for burying emissions of greenhouse gases. International Union For Quaternary Research
The International Union for Quaternary Research (INQUA) was founded in 1928. It has members from a number of scientific disciplines who study the environmental changes that occurred during the glacial ages, the last 2.6 million years. One goal of these investigators is to document the timing and patterns in past climatic changes to help understand the causes of changing climates.
