ESPNU
ESPNU is an American multinational digital cable and satellite sports television channel owned by ESPN Inc., a joint venture between the Disney Media Networks division of The Walt Disney Company (which owns a controlling 80% stake) and the Hearst Communications (which owns the remaining 20%). The channel is primarily dedicated to coverage of college athletics, and is also used as an additional outlet for general ESPN programming. ESPNU is based alongside its sister networks at ESPN's headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. As of November 2021, ESPNU reaches approximately 51 million television households in the United States – a drop of 24% from nearly a decade ago. Carter Blackburn
Carter Blackburn (born March 30, 1979) is an American sportscaster. He currently works for CBS Sports after leaving ESPN in 2014. Early life and education Blackburn was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Kerrville, in the Texas Hill Country near San Antonio. Blackburn began his broadcasting career at KERV/ KRVL radio during his sophomore year at Tivy High School. By his junior year in high school, he was sports director for the radio station, doing morning drive-time reports on area high school sports and Texas college and pro teams as well as providing play-by-play for radio and TV for football, basketball, softball, and baseball. He then graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications of Syracuse University in 2001 with a degree in broadcast journalism and political science. Chris Martin
Christopher Anthony John Martin (born 2 March 1977) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist, pianist, rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the rock band Coldplay. Born in Exeter, Devon, he went to University College London, where he formed the band with classmates Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. David Diaz-Infante
Gustavo David Miguel Diaz-Infante (born March 31, 1964) is a former professional American football guard and center and current assistant offensive line coach for the Los Angeles Chargers of the NFL. In the National Football League, he played for the San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Diaz-Infante also played in the World League of American Football for the Frankfurt Galaxy, in the Canadian Football League for the Sacramento Gold Miners and in the XFL with the Las Vegas Outlaws. Charles Arbuckle
Charles Edward Arbuckle (born September 13, 1968) is an American football coach and former professional tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He was recently the tight ends coach for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football (AAF), a position he took in 2019. He was a two-time All-American while playing college football with the UCLA Bruins. He played four seasons for the Indianapolis Colts (1992–1995). Arbuckle is a graduate of Willowridge High School (Houston) Class of 1986 and was one of the very successful group of football players that hail from Willowridge in the 1980s. Todd McShay
Todd Marshall McShay (born March 22, 1977) is an American football television analyst and commentator. Early life McShay attended North Shore Christian School in Lynn, Massachusetts and then Swampscott High School in Swampscott, Massachusetts, where he played quarterback for the Big Blue, and graduated in 1995. He then attended the University of Richmond, where he was a walk-on for the Spiders in 1995 and served as a scout-team quarterback before sustaining a back injury that ended his college career. He graduated from Richmond in 1999 with a B.A. from the Jepson School of Leadership Studies. Jewel Jacobia Walker (born January 24, 1972) is an American businessman, politician, and former NFL player who served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for the 26th district. Walker is also CEO and president of Walker Financial Services and a college football analyst for ESPN. Mike Tomczak
Michael John Tomczak (born October 23, 1962) is a former American football player. Tomczak played quarterback for several NFL teams from 1985 through 1999, including the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers, the Cleveland Browns, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Power of the Arena Football League until 2014 when they ceased operations. Early life, family and education Tomczak is of Polish descent. Lee Corso
Lee Richard Corso (born August 7, 1935) is an American sports broadcaster and football analyst for ESPN and a former coach. He has been a featured analyst on ESPN's '' College GameDay'' program since its inception in 1987. Corso served as the head football coach at the University of Louisville from 1969 to 1972, at Indiana University Bloomington from 1973 to 1982, and at Northern Illinois University in 1984, compiling a career college football coaching record of 73–85–6. He was the head coach for the Orlando Renegades of the United States Football League in 1985, tallying a mark of 5–13. Colby Shane Cohen (born April 25, 1989) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He played in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Avalanche and in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, the minor league affiliate of the Boston Bruins. Barry Melrose
Barry James Melrose (born July 15, 1956) is a Canadian–American broadcaster and former professional ice hockey player and head coach. Melrose played in the World Hockey Association (WHA) and National Hockey League (NHL). After retiring from playing, he became a head coach and is best known for being the coach of the Los Angeles Kings in their run to the 1993 Stanley Cup Final. He is a long-time commentator and hockey analyst for ESPN and contributor for the NHL Network.
