Byways Cafe
Byways Cafe was a diner in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon, United States. Owners, Collin McFadden and Megan Brinkley, opened the restaurant in 1999, serving American breakfast and brunch comfort foods such as corned beef hash, omelets, and pancakes. Guy Fieri visited the diner for a 2007 episode of the Food Network show, ''Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives''. Frazer Diner
The Frazer Diner, in Chester County, Pennsylvania, was built by the Jerry O'Mahony Diner Company and is now the only remaining example of an unaltered mid-1930s streamline modern O'Mahoney diner. Its original features include the monitor roof, half-moon windows, and porcelian-enameled base. The diner was split lengthwise and originally shipped to Paoli, Pennsylvania and operated as the Paoli Diner. Originally manufactured in 1935 (though some sites reference 1929), it was purchased by Frances and Sylvester Cavalati in 1957 and moved to its present location at 189 Lancaster Avenue, Frazer, Pennsylvania in East Whiteland Township. Fair Deal Cafe was a historically significant diner for the African American community in North Omaha, Nebraska. Once known as the "Black City Hall", Fair Deal was located at North 24th & Burdette in the Near North Omaha neighborhood from 1954 - 2003. History Opened in 1954, the original Fair Deal Cafe is reputed for playing a major role in the history of North Omaha. The Empire Diner is a restaurant in New York City that launched a vogue for upscale retro diners, and whose art deco exterior became an iconic image in numerous films and television programs. It is located at the corner of Tenth Avenue and 22nd Street in the neighborhood of Chelsea. The Dime Store was a short-lived restaurant in Portland, Oregon, in the United States. It was established by Dayna McErlean, with additional conceptual development from Jeremy Larter.
