Zhou Wenzhong (diplomat)
Zhou Wenzhong (; born August 1945) is a diplomat and politician of the People's Republic of China. He served as ambassador to the United States from 2005 to 2010, and deputy foreign minister from 2003 to 2005. Biography Zhou Wenzhong is a native of Jiangsu province. He was born in 1945 and attended the University of Bath and the London School of Economics in the UK. Zhou was Ambassador to Barbados and to Antigua and Barbuda from 1990 to 1993. From 1998 to 2001, he served as Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia. He held leading posts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he served as deputy director of the American Affairs Department until 1994. In 2001 he was promoted as assistant minister and in 2003 he became vice-minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Lloyd Erskine Sandiford
Sir Lloyd Erskine Sandiford, Knight or Dame of St. Andrew (Barbados), KA, Privy Council (United Kingdom), PC (24 March 1937 – 26 June 2023) was a Barbadian politician. He served as the fourth prime minister of Barbados from 1987 to 1994, and later served as Barbados' first resident ambassador in Beijing, China, from 2010 to 2013. Biography Sandiford was born on 24 March 1937 in Barbados and educated at the Coleridge and Parry School, Harrison College (Barbados), Harrison College and the University of the West Indies in Jamaica, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in English. He then studied at Britain's University of Manchester, receiving his Master's degree in economics and social studies. Sandiford returned to Barbados, where he joined the Democratic Labour Party (Barbados), Democratic Labour Party (DLP). Li Peng (; 20 October 1928 – 22 July 2019) was a Chinese politician who served as the 4th premier of China from 1987 to 1998, and as the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislative body, from 1998 to 2003. Errol Barrow
Errol Walton Barrow (21 January 1920 – 1 June 1987) was a Barbadian statesman and the first prime minister of Barbados. Born into a family of political and civic activists in the parish of Saint Lucy, he became a WWII aviator, combat veteran, lawyer, politician, gourmet cook and author.
