Menna Fitzpatrick
Menna Fitzpatrick MBE (born 5 May 1998) is a British alpine skier. She is visually impaired having only 5% vision and formerly skied with guide Jennifer Kehoe until 2021. They competed at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang in March 2018 where they took four medals, including a gold in the slalom, making Fitzpatrick Team GB's most decorated Winter Paralympian. Early life and training She was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and studied Media Production at the Macclesfield College. Fitzpatrick has congenital retinal folds, meaning that she has had no vision in her left eye and limited sight in her right eye since birth. Despite this, she learned to ski whilst on family holidays from the age of five with her father acting as her guide. She was discovered by a coach whilst skiing at the Chill Factore indoor slope in Manchester in 2010, and subsequently started training with the British Para Snowsport team. Jack Leitch (alpine Skier)
Jack Leitch (born 17 July 1995) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Stirling Albion. A midfielder, he started his career with Motherwell and was a product of the Motherwell Academy. In 2016, he moved to Airdrieonians and had one season with the ''Diamonds''. Leitch then played for Peterhead for three seasons before signing for Stirling Albion in 2020. Career Motherwell On 30 November 2013, Leitch made his debut for Motherwell as a substitute in a surprise 1–0 defeat against Lanarkshire derby opponents Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup. His first start came on 1 March 2014, in a 4–1 win against Heart of Midlothian. On 4 June 2014, Leitch signed a new two-year contract at Motherwell. Macmilton "Mac" Marcoux (born 20 June 1997) is a Canadian Paralympic alpine skier who won three titles at the IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup at the age of 15. With guide Robin Femy, he won three medals in alpine skiing at the 2014 Winter Paralympics, including gold in the men's visually impaired giant slalom. He also has numerous awards including being inducted into the Sault Ste. Marie Walk of Fame. He has an older brother and a younger sister. He also enjoys riding BMX and mountain bikes. Anna-Lena Forster (born 15 June 1995) is a German para-alpine skier who competed at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Paralympics winning six medals. Early life Forster was born in Radolfzell, Konstanz Germany. She was born without a right leg and with bones missing in her left leg. She started skiing at the age of six at the VDK Munchen ski club. Career Forster competes in the LW12 para-alpine skiing classification using a mono-ski and outriggers. At the 2013 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships held in La Molina, Spain, she won a silver medal in the women's slalom in a time of 2 minutes 31.31 seconds. Christian Geiger (born 29 March 1988) is an Australian Alpine skier, Paralympic alpine ski coach and sighted guide for visually impaired skiers. He was Jessica Gallagher's guide skier at the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, winning a bronze medal. He represented Australia at the 2008 World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships and the 2009 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, but his career was cut short when he was severely injured in a traffic collision in 2009. He became Jessica Gallagher's sighted guide in 2013, and guided her to silver medals in women's slalom and giant slalom at the 2013 IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup in Thredbo. Melissa Perrine (born 21 February 1988) is a B2 classified visually impaired para-alpine skier from Australia. She has competed at the four Winter Paralympics from 2010 to 2022. At the 2015 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships, she won three gold, one silver and one bronze medals. At the 2018 Winter Paralympics, she won two bronze medals.
