Lishulong
''Lishulong'' (Traditional Chinese: 栗樹龍 Simplified Chinese : 栗树龙 Pinyin : Lìshùlóng meaning "chestnut tree dragon") is a genus of sauropodiform dinosaur from the Early Jurassic (Sinemurian–Toarcian) Lufeng Formation of China. The type and only species is ''Lishulong wangi''. Discovery and naming The holotype specimen, LFGT-ZLJ0011, was discovered in 2007 in Jiudu Village in Konglongshan Town (formerly named Chuanjie Township), Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, China, in sediments belonging to the Shawan Member of the Lufeng Formation. It consists of a cranium, mandible, and nine cervical vertebrae. Parts of the posterior skeleton were also discovered but were lost during excavation. Following the specimen's collection and preparation, it was sent to Lufeng World Dinosaur Valley to be displayed. Lufeng Formation
The Lufeng Formation (formerly Lower Lufeng Series) is a Lower Jurassic sedimentary rock formation found in Yunnan, China. It has two units: the lower Dull Purplish Beds/Shawan Member are of Hettangian age, and Dark Red Beds/Zhangjia'ao Member are of Sinemurian age.Luo, Z., and X.-C. Wu. 1994. Sauropodomorpha ( ; from Greek, meaning "lizard-footed forms") is an extinct clade of long-necked, herbivorous, saurischian dinosaurs that includes the sauropods and their ancestral relatives. Sauropodiformes is an extinct clade of sauropodomorph dinosaurs that includes the animals more closely-related to Sauropoda than prosauropods like ''Massospondylus'' and ''Plateosaurus''. It was named in 2007 by Paul Sereno. Below is a cladogram of basal sauropodomorpha after Apaldetti and colleagues, 2021. Anchisauria is a smaller clade within Sauropodiformes. The name Anchisauria was first used Haekel and defined by Galton and Upchurch in the second edition of ''The Dinosauria''. Yunnanosaurus Youngi
''Yunnanosaurus'' ( ) is an extinct genus of sauropodomorph dinosaur that lived approximately 199 to 183 million years ago in what is now the Yunnan Province, in China, for which it was named. ''Yunnanosaurus'' was a large sized, moderately-built, ground-dwelling, quadrupedal herbivore, that could also walk bipedally, and ranged in size from 7 meters (23 feet) long and 2 m (6.5 ft) high to 4 m (13 ft) high in the largest species. In anatomy, the axis (from Latin ''axis'', "axle") is the second cervical vertebra (C2) of the spine, immediately inferior to the atlas, upon which the head rests.
