Lisa Whiteley
Lisa Whiteley (born 17 January 1993) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for Adelaide in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Whiteley was a teacher at Aldinga Beach B-7 Primary School as a PE Teacher before being Drafted to GWS Giants Whiteley grew up in Adelaide's southern suburbs. She began playing football for the Port Adelaide Women's Football Club in 2011 before turning her attention to netball with the Woods Panthers. She returned to football with Morphettville Park in 2017. in 2018 she kicked 17 goals in 13 games for the club. Whiteley also played for South Adelaide in their 2018 premiership season in the SANFL Women's, and was ranked among their best in the grand final. She also played netball for Goolwa in 2017 & 2018, helping the club to consecutive Grand Finals playing predominantly as wing defence. 2021 AFL Women's Season
The 2021 AFL Women's season was the fifth season of the AFL Women's competition, the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia. The season featured fourteen clubs, ran from 28 January until 17 April, and comprised a 9-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top six clubs. The premiership was won by the for the first time, after it defeated by 18 points in the AFL Women's Grand Final. Netball is a ball sport for two teams of seven players; its rules are published in print and online by the International Netball Federation. Goolwa, South Australia
Goolwa is a historic river port on the Murray River near the Murray Mouth in South Australia, and joined by a bridge to Hindmarsh Island.
