Lisa Marie-Louise Verschueren (born 14 June 1995) is a retired Belgian artistic gymnast. Biography In 2014, aged 18, she was crowned Belgian all-around champion in Mechelen, scoring 14.000 on vault, 13.800 on uneven bars, 12.633 on beam, and 12.766 on floor exercise, for an all-around score of 53.199. In October of the same year she participated in the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships with Belgium, finishing eleventh. In June 2015 she and Gaelle Mys led Belgium to a silver in the first edition of the Flanders Team Challenge, won by Germany. The 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Antwerp, Belgium, from 30 September to 6 October 2013 at Antwerp's Sports Palace. Kōhei Uchimura won the men's individual all-around gold medal, and finished the competition with four total medals. The 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was the 46th edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. Gymnastics competitions at the 2015 European Games were held in the National Gymnastics Arena, Baku between 15–21 June 2015. In all, five different gymnastics disciplines were contested. In addition to the existing Olympic programme, additional events were held in both the rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining disciplines. The 30th European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 12 to 18 May 2014 at the Arena Armeec in Sofia, Bulgaria. They were held in conjunction with the 2014 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which began 19 May in the same arena. It was the fourth time the senior and junior women's and men's European championships had been held in one location, which posed logistical difficulties for the organizers; there were also issues with installing the podiums and apparatuses. 288 gymnasts from 37 nations competed. The 2014 International Gymnix competition was a competition held in Montreal, Canada in early March 2014 (from March 6 to March 9). It was the 23rd edition of the International Gymnix. The nations that had placed in the top 16 places in the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were invited to the tournament, with Belgium, Italy, Romania and Russia joining it. The Junior International Cup was open to athletes born between 1999 and 2001. Russia won the team event.
