Lisa Montell
Lisa Janti (born Irena Ludmila Vladimirovna Augustynowic; July 5, 1933 – March 7, 2023), known as Lisa Montell during her film and television career, was an American actress, author and activist. She appeared in Hollywood films during the 1950's while also pursuing a parallel career of advocacy and service to disadvantaged groups and to her adopted religion, the Baháʼí Faith. Early life and education Irena Ludmila Vladimirovna Augustynowic was born in Warsaw, Poland on July 5, 1933. Of Russian and Polish descent, her family fled Poland before World War II. The Public Defender (TV Series)
''The Public Defender'' is an American legal drama television series that was broadcast on CBS from March 11, 1954, to June 23, 1955. Premise Reed Hadley had the title role of public defender Bart Matthews. Each episode opened with him in a courtroom setting explaining the role of a public defender and the increase in the number of public defenders from the first one (created in January 1913). In each episode Matthews sought to show that his client was not guilty or to at least obtain a shorter sentence if the person was guilty. He sometimes had to investigate to learn more facts about the client's situation. Hadley portrayed Matthews as "such a character as butter will not melt in his mouth. His hollow eyes and sepulchral voice are enlisted in the defense of parties at odds with the law by force of circumstances." The International Day of Peace, also officially known as World Peace Day, is a United Nations-sanctioned holiday observed annually on 21 September. Baháʼu'lláh (, born Ḥusayn-ʻAlí; 12 November 1817 – 29 May 1892) was an Iranian religious leader who founded the Baháʼí Faith. He was born to an aristocratic family in Iran and was exiled due to his adherence to the messianic Bábism. In 1863, in Iraq, he first announced his claim to a revelation from God in the Baháʼí Faith, God and spent the rest of his life in further imprisonment in the Ottoman Empire. Progressive revelation is a core teaching in the Baháʼí Faith that suggests that religious truth is revealed by God progressively and cyclically over time through a series of divine Messengers, and that the teachings are tailored to suit the needs of the time and place of their appearance. Manly Palmer Hall (18 March 1901 – 29 August 1990) was an American writer, lecturer, astrologer and mystic. Over his 70-year career he gave thousands of lectures and published over 150 volumes, of which the best known is ''The Secret Teachings of All Ages'' (1928).
