Linky Racing is a Chinese auto racing team based in Shaoxing, China. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2017. The team also races in the TCR China Touring Car Championship, China GT Championship and China Touring Car Championship amongst others. China Touring Car Championship The team entered the China Touring Car Championship for first time in 2016, entering the series with a pair of Audi S3 Saloons in the Super Production 2.0T class as well as entering a pair of MG 3s in the China Production class under the I Think Racing Team banner. The team also entered the 2016 Guia Race of Macau with Zhang Ya Qi and Jiang Tengyi, driving the two Audis. With the team returning for a full season in 2017, this time only entering a pair of MG 3s for the now-renamed China Cup class. TCR International Series
The TCR International Series was an international touring car championship. The championship was promoted by World Sporting Consulting (WSC), founded by former World Touring Car Championship manager Marcello Lotti. It was marketed as a cost-effective spin-off of the WTCC, targeted at C-segment hatchbacks production-based touring cars. The title TCR follows the naming convention now used by the FIA to classify the cars that compete in touring car racing, with TC1 referring to the top tier as used by the FIA WTCC and TC2 referring to the legacy cars which principally compete in the FIA ETCC. The Ferrari 488 (Type F142M) is a Rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, mid-engine sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. Jiang Tengyi
Jiang Tengyi (, born January 30, 1985 in Shanghai) is a Chinese racing driver who drives for A1 Team China. In 1998 he took part in the Chinese KART Cup and raced to third place. In 2000, he repeated his performance in the KART Title Match (International A Grade). He bettered his performance in 2001 with second place. He also won the Macao Jinmei Challenge. The next year, he was champion of the Shanghai TCL KART challenge and received a BMW Scholarship. He was accepted in German Formula BMW in 2002 and was expected to race in Formula BMW Asia in 2003, but he turned down the chance because Shanghai Volkswagen sponsored him to race in German Formula Volkswagen. The 2016 Guia Race of Macau was the eleventh and final round of the 2016 TCR International Series season as well as the fifth and final round of the 2016 TCR Asia Series season. It took place on 20 November at the Guia Circuit. Stefano Comini won the first race, driving a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR and Tiago Monteiro gained the second one, driving a Honda Civic TCR. Success Ballast Due to the results obtained in the previous round, James Nash received +30 kg, Roberto Colciago +20 kg and Kevin Gleason +10 kg. 2017 TCR International Series
The 2017 TCR International Series was the third and the last season of the TCR International Series. Stefano Comini entered the season as defending double champion, but finished only third in the standings with 30 points behind the new champion Jean-Karl Vernay, who won the title with a race to spare in the Dubai round, and Attila Tassi.
