Ling Tian Soon (), or commonly known as Ah Soon, is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Johor State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi and Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Yong Peng since March 2022. He is a member of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a component party of the BN coalition. He is the Organising Secretary of MCA, Youth Chief of MCA of Johor, Division Chief of Ayer Hitam of MCA. The Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia ( en, Malaysian People's Movement Party, commonly abbreviated as GERAKAN or less commonly as PGRM) is a liberal political party in Malaysia. 2018 Johor State Election
The 14th Johor State election was held on 9 May 2018, concurrently with the 2018 Malaysian general election. The previous state election was held on 5 May 2013. The state assemblymen is elected to 5 years term each. The Johor State Legislative Assembly would automatically dissolve on 20 June 2018, the fifth anniversary of the first sitting, and elections must be held within sixty days (two months) of the dissolution (on or before 20 August 2018, with the date to be decided by the Election Commission), unless dissolved prior to that date by the Head of State (Sultan of Johor) on the advice of the Head of Government (Menteri Besar of Johor). Lee Ting Han (born 1990) is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as the Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Paloh since March 2022. Lee had studied at the SMK Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru (SMKPJ) from 2003-2009 before continuing his studies at the University of Malaya where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in law. He then continued his postgraduate study at University of Cambridge. Before flying to the United Kingdom, Lee briefly worked at the Prime Minister's Department.
