The MRT Line 5 (, ''Romanisation of Bengali, romanised: Em-Ar-Ti Lain Pachh'') is an approved mass rapid transit line of Dhaka Metro Rail. It will be the third line of the Dhaka Metro Rail system. This line comprises Northern Route, MRT Line 5 (Dhaka Metro), Northern Route and Southern Route, MRT Line 5 (Dhaka Metro), Southern Route. The construction of the MRT Line 5's Northern Route, MRT Line 5 (Dhaka Metro), Northern Route began in 5 November 2023 and is scheduled to commence operation by 2028. Background In 2005, the World Bank published a study report, recommending that the government of Bangladesh build a mass transit system in Dhaka. Line 5 (Tianjin Metro)
Line 5 of the Tianjin Metro () is a rapid transit line running semi-circular from north-west to south-west Tianjin. It is run by Tianjin Binhai Mass Transit Development Co., Ltd, which becomes a subsidiary of Tianjin Rail Transit Group Corporation since 2017. The line is 36.1 km in length and has 29 stations. Beichenkejiyuanbei is half-underground. Liqizhuangnan is at-grade. All other stations are underground. The line uses 6 car B size trains. Line 5, together with Line 6 forms a loop around Tianjin. The Makati Intra-city Subway (MkTr) was a planned underground rapid transit line to be located in Makati, Metro Manila, that will link establishments across the city's business district. The construction of it was planned through a public-private partnership program between the Makati City Government and a private consortium headed by Philippine Infradev Holdings. Proponents of the subway were expected to begin construction by December 2018, and Makati Mayor Abigail Binay projects completion by 2025. Sennichimae Line
is an underground rapid transit line in Osaka, Japan. It is one of the lines of Osaka Metro. It links the northwestern district of Fukushima-ku and the southeastern district of Ikuno-ku with the central commercial and entertainment district of Namba. The line is paralleled by the underground Kintetsu Namba Line/ Hanshin Namba Line connection line in its central section. The Red Line or Line 5 is one of the under construction lines of Chennai Metro Phase-II stretching from Madhavaram Milk Colony to Sholinganallur.
