The Line 14 - Onyx of the São Paulo Metro Rail Transport Network, also known as East Arc, is a projected Light rail line that will connect the cities of Guarulhos and Santo André, passing through the East Zone of São Paulo. The branch is characterized as a perimeter connection line, encircling the urban center and connecting to other existing and future railway lines and to the peripheral areas of the São Paulo Metropolitan Region. History Line 14 - Onyx (), formerly called the Airport Express, was first proposed as a line of the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos commuter rail system in São Paulo, Brazil which would originally connect the São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport to Brás Station. Rodovia Ayrton Senna
Rodovia Ayrton Senna da Silva (officially designated SP-070 and formerly named Rodovia dos Trabalhadores) (Workers' Highway), is a highway in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The highway begins in the Eastern region of city of São Paulo and ends at the county of Guararema, merging with Rodovia Presidente Dutra. The cities served by Rodovia Ayrton Senna are Guarulhos, Itaquaquecetuba, Mogi das Cruzes, Suzano, Poá and Guararema. It continues in the same direction into Rodovia Carvalho Pinto, which has the same SP-070 designation, in parallel with Dutra Highway. Near São Paulo, special highway engineering techniques had to be used, in order to cross the natural swamp area by the Tietê River without damaging the nearby ecosystem. Rio–São Paulo High-speed Rail
The Rio–São Paulo High-Speed Rail (; Abbreviation: ''TAV RJ-SP'') is a planned high-speed rail project to connect São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. While originally planned to be operational by 2014 in time for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, 20th FIFA World Cup, to be held in Brazil at a cost of $9 billion, as of May 2015 formal bidding for the project had yet to start, with the Brazilian government delaying the auction by "at least" one year in August 2013, pushing back hopes of completion to at least the 2020s. Geraldo José Rodrigues Alckmin Filho (; born 7 November 1952) is a Brazilian physician and politician currently serving as 26th vice president of Brazil. He previously was the List of governors of São Paulo, Governor of São Paulo (state), São Paulo for two nonconsecutive terms, the longest serving since Military dictatorship in Brazil, democratization, 2001 to 2006 and 2011 to 2018.
