Line 11 of Qingdao Metro is a suburban rapid transit, metro line in Qingdao. The line runs from central Qingdao through Laoshan District, Laoshan to the satellite district of Jimo District, Jimo. Laoshan District
Laoshan District () is an urban district (区) of Qingdao, Shandong. It has an area of and had approximately 379,500 inhabitants as of 2010. It is home to Mount Lao, which gave the district its name. Geography Laoshan District is located in the south of the Shandong Peninsula, facing the Yellow Sea in the east and south. It covers with of coastline. The mountain ranges of Laoshan cover most of the eastern part of the district. The district belongs to north temperature zone, with a monsoon-influenced temperate climate. Jimo District
Jimo District (), formerly Jimo City (), is a District of Qingdao, Shandong. Location Jimo is located in the southwest of the Shandong Peninsula, bordered by the Yellow Sea on the east and Mount Lao on the south. Climate Jimo has a moderate monsoon climate. The yearly average temperature is about , and average annual precipitation is . History Jimo was established in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, at which time it was the second largest settlement in Shandong.
