Graham Bonnet
Graham Bonnet (born 23 December 1947) is an English rock singer. He has recorded and performed as a solo artist and as a member of several hard rock and heavy metal music, heavy metal bands including Rainbow (rock band), Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Alcatrazz, and Impellitteri.Prato, Greg "[ Graham Bonnet Biography]", Allmusic, retrieved 23 January 2010 He is known for his powerful singing voice but is capable of also singing soft melodies. Rainbow (English Band)
Rainbow (also known as Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow or Blackmore's Rainbow) are a British rock band formed in Hertford in 1975 by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. Established in the aftermath of Blackmore's first departure from Deep Purple, they originally featured four members of the American rock band Elf, including their singer Ronnie James Dio, but after their self-titled debut album, Blackmore fired these members, except Dio, recruiting drummer Cozy Powell, bassist Jimmy Bain, and keyboardist Tony Carey. This line-up recorded the band's second album '' Rising'' (1976), while ''Long Live Rock 'n' Roll'' (1978) saw Bob Daisley and David Stone replace Bain and Carey, respectively. ''Long Live Rock 'n' Roll'' was also the last album with Dio before he left the band to join Black Sabbath in 1979. Graham Patrick "Kirby" Gregory, often credited simply as Kirby (born 11 March 1953 in Wallingford, Berkshire, England) is an English musician best known for playing with rock bands Curved Air and Stretch. He now works in the field of addictions counselling. Musical career Gregory began playing guitar aged seven and moved to London in 1969 with bass guitarist Steve Emery. They formed a band called Armada, and recruited vocalist Elmer Gantry before breaking up. In 1972, Gregory joined progressive rock band Curved Air and played on their 1973 album, '' Air Cut''. Set Me Free (The Kinks Song)
"Set Me Free" is a song by Ray Davies, released first by the Kinks in 1965. Along with " Tired of Waiting for You", it is one of band's first attempts at a softer, more introspective sound. The song's B-side, " I Need You", makes prominent use of powerchords in the style of the Kinks' early, "raunchy" sound. "Set Me Free" was heard in the Ken Loach-directed '' Up the Junction'', a BBC '' Wednesday Play'' which aired in November 1965; this marked the first appearance of a Kinks song on a film or TV soundtrack. Michael Joseph Moody (born 30 August 1950) is an English guitarist, and a former member of the rock bands Juicy Lucy and Whitesnake. He was also a founder-member of Snafu. Together with his former Whitesnake colleague Bernie Marsden he founded the Moody Marsden Band, and later, the Snakes, having previously collaborated with unofficial fifth Status Quo member Bob Young in Young & Moody. Bob Young (artist)
Robert Keith Young (born 16 May 1945) is an English musician and author, who became famous for being the unofficial fifth member of the rock band Status Quo (band), Status Quo. Collaborations with Status Quo From the mid-1960s onwards, Young has been working in the music business, starting as a crew member for Amen Corner (band), Amen Corner, The Nice and also for The Herd (UK band), The Herd. Based on this experience he was hired by the management of Status Quo, after they had their first hit with "Pictures of Matchstick Men" in 1968.
