Lindsey Chapman
Lindsey Katherine Chapman (born ) is an English television and radio presenter. Career Chapman, the daughter of a teacher and a rural developer, was educated at Lockington primary school and Beverley High School before studying Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of Birmingham and later trained at Birmingham School of Acting. Growing up, she was a member of the Girl Guides. In August 2015 Chapman hosted ''Big Blue UK'', a series on UK marine wildlife, alongside Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall for BBC One. In January 2016, she co-hosted BBC Two's '' Winterwatch Unsprung'' with Chris Packham. She continued this role with ''Springwatch Unsprung'' in June 2016 and 2017 and in an online version of ''Winterwatch Unsprung'' in January 2017. Chapman has also presented '' Songs of Praise'' for the BBC and appeared on their wildlife-themed panel show ''Curious Creatures''. Beverley
Beverley is a market and minster town and a civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, of which it is the county town. The town centre is located south-east of York's centre and north-west of City of Hull. ''Costing the Earth'' is a factual programme on BBC Radio 4 about the environment. The show has been broadcast since 2007 and is also available to download as a podcast. The programme is produced by the Radio 4 team based in Bristol. The London 2012 Olympic Torch was carried around the UK for 70 days in the London 2012 Torch Relay, from 19 May to 27 July 2012. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB; , AHNE) is an area of countryside in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, that has been designated for conservation due to its significant landscape value. Areas are designated in recognition of their national importance by the relevant public body: Natural England, Natural Resources Wales, and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency respectively. In place of AONB, Scotland uses the similar national scenic area (NSA) designation. Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty enjoy levels of protection from development similar to those of UK national parks, but unlike national parks the responsible bodies do not have their own planning powers. Nidderdale
Nidderdale, historically also known as Netherdale, is one of the Yorkshire Dales (although outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park) in North Yorkshire, England. It is the upper valley of the River Nidd, which flows south underground and then along the dale, forming several reservoirs including the Gouthwaite Reservoir, before turning east and eventually joining the River Ouse. The only town in the dale is Pateley Bridge. Netball is a ball sport played on a court by two teams of seven players. It is among a rare number of sports which have been created exclusively for female competitors. The sport is played on indoor and outdoor netball courts and is specifically played in schools. Netball is most popularly played in Commonwealth nations. Hull UK City of Culture 2017 was a designation given to the city of Kingston upon Hull, England, between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2020 by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
