Lindner Fitness Center
The Lindner Fitness Center is a multi-purpose arena located in Elgin, Illinois, United States on the campus of Judson University. It is in the Eastern corner of the campus and faces the soccer field. The Fitness Center has two basketball courts which double as volleyball courts. A track runs around the edge of the gymnasium, raised above the floor. Judson University
Judson University is a Private university, private Baptist university in Elgin, Illinois. It is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA. Judson was formed out of the liberal arts component of Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. When the seminary moved from Chicago to Lombard, Illinois, it was decided to make the college separate from the seminary. Originally known as Judson College, it was named after Adoniram Judson, the first American Baptist Churches USA, American Baptist missionary to foreign shores. The Elgin Racers were a franchise of the International Basketball League. They played their home games at the Lindner Fitness Center at Judson University and the Spartan Events Center in Elgin, Illinois. 2005 season The Windy City Dawgs were an International Basketball League team based in Palatine, Illinois. The team played home games at Harper College. The Dawgs featured four all-stars; Brandon Moore, Ryan Edwards, Sherick Simpson and Brandon Watkins. International Basketball League
The International Basketball League (IBL) was a semi-professional men's basketball league featuring teams from the West Coast of the United States. In 2010 the Albany Legends became the first team in the Northeastern United States to join. The IBL also sometimes featured teams from China and Japan which temporarily relocated to the United States for the IBL season. The IBL season typically ran from the end of March through July.
