Irma L. Lindheim (1886–1978), born in New York, was a Zionist fund-raiser and educator. Early life Lindheim was born Irma Levy in New York City on December 9, 1886, to a German-Jewish family with roots in the American South. Her father, Robert Levy, was a business man, and her mother, Mathilda (née Morgenstern) stayed at home and raised Irma and her sisters, Amy and Edna. Though Lindheim would later attend a Jewish seminary, her early life at home was largely devoid of Jewish ritual; the family had Christmas trees in their home and declined to celebrate Jewish holidays. Irma, refusing to consent to her father's insistence that he choose her husband, married Norvin R. Lindheim in 1907, a young attorney and graduate of Johns Hopkins and Columbia University Law School. Together, they had five children, and when Irma's father died in 1914, she inherited a small fortune. Mary Tuthill Lindheim
Mary Tuthill Lindheim (February 14, 1912 – December 30, 2004), born Mary Barbara Tuthill, and also known professionally as Mary Tuthill or Mary Lindheim, was an American sculptor and studio potter. She trained as a sculptor with Ralph Stackpole and Alexander Archipenko, working in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco between 1930 and 1945. Widowed in World War II, she turned to ceramics, studying with Antonio Prieto at California College of Arts and Crafts (now California College of the Arts), and was an active studio artist and leader in potters' and craftsmen circles in the Bay Area from 1946 to 1969. In 1969, she moved to Bolinas, California, and in 1994, she was given a retrospective at the small but respected Bolinas Museum, which revived her reputation. Nicholas K. Lindheim (born November 9, 1984) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. Professional career Lindheim turned professional in 2005 and played on several U.S. mini-tours during his early career including the Florida Professional Golf Tour. His first win on this tour came at the 2010 event at Pelican Bay. Subsequently, he won a further five events on the tour. In 2014, Lindheim joined the Web.com Tour and PGA Tour Latinoamérica. During his season on the Web.com Tour, he achieved two top-10 finishes. In 2014, Lindheim qualified for his first major championship by shooting 7-under-par in sectional qualifying for the 2014 U.S. Open. He went on to make the cut and finished in a tie for 56th.
