Linda Stern Zisquit
Linda Stern Zisquit () is an American-born Israeli poet and translator. She teaches poetry, Hebrew literature and poetry translation at Bar-Ilan University. Biography Linda Stern (later Zisquit) was born in Buffalo, NY. She studied at Tufts University and, later, at Harvard University and SUNY Buffalo. In 1978, she moved to Israel and settled in Jerusalem. She is married to the lawyer Donald Zisquit, and is the mother of five children. She also runs the ArtSpace Gallery at her home in Jerusalem's German Colony. Literary career Zisquit teaches poetry, Hebrew literature and poetry translation at Bar Ilan University where she is Associate Professor and Poetry Coordinator for the Shaindy Rudoff MA in Creative Writing Program.
