Linda Keith (born 1946) is a former British fashion model, best known for her work for ''Vogue (British magazine), Vogue'' magazine during the 1960s as well as her involvement in the rock music scene during the Swinging Sixties. Early life Linda Keith was born in West Hampstead, London, England, to Pearl Rebuck and Alan Keith, a British actor and radio presenter. Her brother Brian Keith (judge), Brian Keith is a judge. Career Keith began modeling in the 60s, which her father objected to. While working for ''Vogue'', Linda dated Keith Richards and later Brian Jones and spent time living in New York City where she frequented the clubs in Greenwich Village. She helped discover Jimi Hendrix by introducing him to Chas Chandler. She was also the first cousin of Free (band), Free guitarist Paul Kossoff. John Porter (born 11 September 1947 in Leeds) is an English musician and record producer. Biography He attended St Michael's School, Allerton Grange School, King's College, London, and Newcastle University. While at Newcastle, Porter met singer Bryan Ferry, and was part of his fledgling band The Gas Board. Ferry's later band Roxy Music had achieved success in the early 1970s, but having had some troubles with bass players, Ferry invited Porter on board to record the 1973 album ''For Your Pleasure'' before the band found a permanent bassist. Porter went on to serve as a record producer for many later albums for Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry. He has since produced for The Smiths, Billy Bragg, The Blades, Microdisney, School of Fish, B. B. King, Los Lonely Boys, Buddy Guy, Ryan Adams, Missy Higgins and numerous other bands. "Red House" is a song written by Jimi Hendrix and one of the first songs recorded in 1966 by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. It has the musical form of a conventional twelve-bar blues and features Hendrix's guitar playing. He developed the song prior to forming the Experience and was inspired by earlier blues songs. "Red House" was first released on the British edition of Hendrix's debut album ''Are You Experienced'' in May 1967 (for the American album release, previously released Experience singles were used in its place).
