An extremophile () is an organism that is able to live (or in some cases thrive) in extreme environments, i.e., environments with conditions approaching or stretching the limits of what known life can adapt to, such as extreme temperature, pressure, radiation, salinity, or pH level. Steamboat Springs is a home rule municipality that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Routt County, Colorado, United States. The population was 13,224 at the 2020 census. Naididae
The Naididae (including the former family Tubificidae) are a family (biology), family of clitellate oligochaete worms like the sludge worm, ''Tubifex tubifex''. They are key components of the benthic communities of many freshwater and ocean, marine ecosystems. In freshwater aquaria they may be referred to as detritus worms. Description These worms can vary in size, from centimeters to millimeters, depending on the subfamily. They are all hermaphroditic and lack a larval stage.
