Lim Kim Choon
Lim Kim Choon is a Singaporean civil servant and former major-general who served as Chief of Air Force between 2001 and 2006. After leaving the Air Force in 2006, Lim served as the chief executive officer and director-general of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) between 2007 and 2009. Education Lim was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Overseas Scholarship in 1977 and graduated from Loughborough University with a Bachelor of Science (Second Upper Class Honours). He also holds a Master of Science in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He attended the Air Command and Staff Course in the United States. He attended the six-week Advanced Management Program in Harvard Business School in 2009. Colony Of Singapore
Singapore was a British colony for 144 years, apart from a period of occupation under the Japanese Empire from 1942 to 1945 during the Pacific War. When the Empire of Japan surrendered to the Allies in 1945, at the end of World War II, Singapore was returned to British rule. McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle
The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) F-15E Strike Eagle is an American all-weather multirole strike fighter derived from the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. The F-15E was designed in the 1980s for long-range, high-speed interdiction without relying on escort or electronic-warfare aircraft. United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E Strike Eagles can be generally distinguished from other US Eagle variants by darker aircraft camouflage, conformal fuel tanks (CFTs) mounted along the engine intake ramps (although CFTs can also be mounted on earlier F-15 variants) and a tandem-seat cockpit. The Strike Eagle has been deployed for military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Libya, among others. The Long Service Medal (Military) is a decoration awarded to a member of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) (regardless of regular or NSmen status) who has completed 25 years of continuous service. Previously, regular servicemen were eligible for the Pingat Bakti Setia (Long Service Award) in line with other government employees, however NSmen were not eligible. Ng Chee Khern (born 18 October 1965) is a Singaporean civil servant and former major-general who served as Chief of Air Force between 2006 and 2009. He is currently serving as Permanent Secretary (Smart Nation and Digital Government) under the Prime Minister's Office, and Chairman of the Government Technology Agency. Education Ng is an alumnus of Victoria School and Hwa Chong Junior College, and was a recipient of the President's Scholarship and Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship in 1985.
