Lilith Nagar
Lilith "Lilit" Naggar (born 1935, Hebrew: לילית נגר), also known as Layla Najar (Arabic: ليلى نجار), is an Israeli Arabic-language television host, actress, and singer. Biography Lilit Naggar was born on August 22, 1935 in Mandate Palestine but grew up in Egypt. The family returned to Israel after the establishment of the state. At the age of 15, she settled with her family on Kibbutz Shluhot, a modern-orthodox kibbutz affiliated with the Religious Kibbutz Movement. Naggar was married to Zouzou Moussa, an Egyptian-born musician who played with the Israel Radio Arabic orchestra. Music, theater and television career At 17, Nagar recorded her first song, which became a hit. Hebrew (; ; ) is a Northwest Semitic language of the Afroasiatic language family. Historically, it is one of the spoken languages of the Israelites and their longest-surviving descendants, the Jews and Samaritans. Beit Lessin Theater ( he, תיאטרון בית ליסין, translit: ''Teatron Bet Lessin'') is a theater in Tel Aviv, Israel. History The theater was established in 1980 by Yaakov Agmon for the Histadrut. Over the years the theater has shown over a thousand contemporary American and European plays, as well as original productions. In 1993, Zippi Pines started managing the theater. It was separated from the Histadrut and started showing mostly original Israeli material reflecting the political and social situation in Israel. In 2003, the theater moved from Lessin House to the old residence of the Cameri Theater after it was remodeled. Initially, there was one state-owned channel, operated jointly by the Israel Broadcasting Authority and the Israeli Educational Television. In 1986, a second state-regulated channel was launched.
