''Lights Out'' is the only studio album by American hardcore punk band Fall River (band), Fall River, released on November 8, 2005, through Thorp Records. It was produced by Simon Brody of Drowningman and mixed by Matt Bayles. A music video was produced for the track "The President Has Been Kidnapped by Ninjas". Background and recording After the release of ''Chronicles'', the group signed into Thorp Records on May 31, 2005. Before heading into the studio, the band showcased some new material at a handful of shows around the Syracuse area with Bury Your Dead, The Red Chord, Between the Buried and Me, and others. Then they'll head to Hellfest (American music festival), Hellfest where plans are being set to have Sean Ingram join them on stage live and attended Warped Tour. Fall River (band)
Fall River was an American hardcore punk band formed in Souderton, Pennsylvania, early 2003 after the break-up of their first project, Manhunt. The group mainly consisted of four members: vocalist Alison Bellavance, drummer John Collier, guitarist Kevin Rausch, and bassist Matt Boylan. They spent their first year in Kevin's garage and eventually they put some songs together and they released a 4-song demo tape (2000). They released their debut EP ''Revenge: Volume One'' (2001) and later signed into Teishu Records. The band released the second EP ''They Follow, I Fly'' (2002). The original band had to split and Bellavance, Rausch, Collier, and Piston formed a spiritual successor named Fall River on February 6, 2003. Cute Is What We Aim For is an American rock band from Buffalo, New York. The band formed in 2005 and has since released two albums: ''The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch'' and ''Rotation''. The band was previously signed with record label Fueled by Ramen for their two releases. Coalesce was an American metalcore band formed in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1994. They are considered pioneers of mathcore and were known for its aggressive style of music and reckless live shows. The band broke up in 2010 and has performed two reunion shows since then. The Dillinger Escape Plan
The Dillinger Escape Plan was an American metalcore band. The band was formed in 1997 in Morris Plains, New Jersey by guitarist Ben Weinman, bassist Adam Doll, vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, and drummer Chris Pennie. The band's use of odd time signatures, polyrhythms and unconventional drum patterns became a staple of their sound, although later albums incorporated more melody, and influences from a range of genres. The band's lineup shifted numerous times throughout its existence; by the time the group dissolved, Weinman was the only remaining founding member. Zao (American Band)
Zao () is an American metalcore band founded in Parkersburg, West Virginia and later relocated to Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Founded in March 1993, Zao has hosted several musicians and endured numerous roster changes to the point where no original members remain. Former drummer Jesse Smith, vocalist Dan Weyandt, and guitarists Scott Mellinger and Russ Cogdell are seen by some fans as the "core" of Zao, with the current line up being the longest running in the band's history. Unearth
Unearth is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 1998, the group has released seven studio albums. History Early career (1998–2002) Unearth was formed by Trevor Phipps, Buz McGrath, Ken Susi, Mike Rudberg, and Chris Rybicki in Boston, Massachusetts in 1998. The band began as Point 04 (containing McGrath, Rudberg, and Rybicki), and Susi was recruited soon afterwards. The band attempted to recruit Phipps while he recovered from appendicitis, but Phipps was reluctant to join. Mastodon is an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia. The Blood Brothers (band)
The Blood Brothers was an American post-hardcore band which formed in 1997. The group was based in Seattle's Eastside suburbs and released five full-length albums before their 2007 breakup, as well as numerous side projects on behalf of the members. They reunited for a series of shows surrounding and including FYF Fest in 2014. Origins Singers Jordan Blilie and Johnny Whitney and drummer Mark Gajadhar formed the band from a previous musical endeavor, a band called Vade that they were involved with when they were 15 years old. Joining with bassist Morgan Henderson and guitarist Devin Welch the following year, the Blood Brothers were born in August 1997.
