Lightning Bug (band)
Lightning Bug are an American indie rock band from New York. The band consists of Logan Miley, Kevin Copeland, Dane Hagen, and Audrey Kang. History Lightning Bug formed in 2015 as the musical project of musician Audrey Kang. That year, they released their first full-length album titled ''Floaters''. In 2017, Lightning Bug released a four-song EP titled ''The Torment of Love''. In 2019, the trio released their second full-length album titled ''October Song''. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where Dunedin sound, a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's University of Otago, large student population.
