Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT; literal translation Netherlands Dance Theatre) is a Dutch contemporary dance company. NDT is headquartered at the ''Amare'' building in The Hague. NDT also performs at other venues in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam's Het Muziektheater and Nijmegen's Stadsschouwburg. Marco Goecke
Marco Goecke (born 12 April 1972) is a German choreographer. He was the director of Hanover State Ballet between 2019 and 2023, and had also held positions at Stuttgart Ballet, , Nederlands Dans Theater and Gauthier Dance. He had additionally choreographed works for Paris Opera Ballet, Berlin State Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and Vienna State Ballet, among others. ''Die Welt'' Manuel Brug called him "the most important choreographer in Germany." Crystal Pite (born December 15, 1970) is a Canadian Choreography (dance), choreographer and dancer. She began her professional dance career in 1988 at Ballet British Columbia, Ballet BC, and in 1996 she joined Ballett Frankfurt under the tutelage of William Forsythe (dancer), William Forsythe. After leaving Ballett Frankfurt she became the resident choreographer of Montreal company Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal from 2001 to 2004. She then returned to Vancouver where she focused on choreographing while continuing to dance in her own pieces until 2010. Hamburg Ballet
The Hamburg Ballet is a ballet company based in Hamburg, Germany. Since 1973, it has been directed by the American dancer and choreographer John Neumeier. In addition there is a ballet school, , established in 1978. The performances of the Hamburg Ballet are usually held at the Hamburg State Opera, while the training and education facility is the Ballettzentrum Hamburg – John Neumeier. Royal Swedish Ballet
The Royal Swedish Ballet is one of the oldest ballet companies in Europe. Rudi Van Dantzig
Rudi van Dantzig (4 August 1933 – 19 January 2012) was a Dutch choreographer, company director, and writer. He was a pivotal figure in the rise to world renown of Dutch ballet in the latter half of the twentieth century. He was co-director and then artistic director of the Dutch National Ballet from 1968 and 1991, and later did choreography for major companies such as Ballet Rambert, The Royal Ballet, the Royal Danish Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Paris Opera Ballet. Alexandra Radius
Alexandra Mary Theodora (Lex) Radius (born 3 July 1942 in Amsterdam) is a retired Dutch ballerina. Radius had her debut in 1957 at the Netherlands Ballet of Sonia Gaskell. There, in 1959, she met Han Ebbelaar, who would become her husband and lifelong dancing partner. Radius and Ebbelaar were soloists at the Dutch National Ballet, the Nederlands Dans Theater and, between 1968 and 1970, the American Ballet Theatre. Radius danced in classical pieces, but also in contemporary choreographies like those by Rudi van Dantzig and Hans van Manen. Her other regular dancing partners were Rudolf Nureyev, Henny Jurriëns and Alan Land. In 1990, she stopped performing ballet at the age of 48, on which occasion she was awarded the Medal of Honor for Art and Science of the Order of the House of Orange.
