Simon Dominggus "Broery" Pesulima (25 June 1948 – 7 April 2000) was an Indonesian singer and actor. Early life During his career he also used the name Broery Marantika taken from his mother's family name. He was raised by the family of his mother's uncle, Simon Marantika. His father named Gijsberth Pesulima while her mother called Wilmintje Marantika. Broery had three brothers, namely Henky, Freejohn and Helmi. Since young age Broery is a member of the church choir in Ambon. In 1964 he won the singing contest held by Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) in Ambon. A year after he moved to Cinere, Jakarta and started his career as a professional singer with Remy Leimena. Helmi Pesulima was a known singer. Broery made the first album recorded in 1968–1969. Yao Su-jung (Chinese name: 姚蘇蓉'', P'inyin: ''Yáo Sūróng''; born December 5, 1945) is a Taiwanese singer who rose to prominence in the 1960s. Wan Sha Lang ( Chinese: 萬沙浪, also spelled Vansalrang; 21 January 1949 – 18 June 2023), known in China as Wang Zhongyi (Chinese: 王忠義), was a Taiwanese singer and film actor. Life and career Sha Lang approached music during his military conscription when he became a trumpeter in the army band. After being discharged, he started a rock band with two friends, and began performing in clubs and hotels. He had his breakout in 1971, when he got a hit with "Love Is an Elusive Wind (風從哪裡來)", the theme song of the film of the same name, and successfully specialized in romantic ballads in Mandarin.
