library@harbourfront, formerly known as Bukit Merah Public Library, is a public library located at VivoCity, Singapore. It is the largest shopping mall public library in Singapore. History Originally called Bukit Merah Branch Library, it serves the residents of Tanjong Pagar, Bukit Merah, Tiong Bahru and Telok Blangah. The library, which was situated at 3779 Jalan Bukit Merah, Singapore 159462, was officially opened on 28 December 1982 by the then Minister-without-Portfolio and Member of Parliament for Bukit Merah Mr Lim Chee Onn. On 29 December 1982, the library was open to public. It is the first branch library to have an audiovisual (AV) section. The library closed for renovation from 28 December 2004 to 25 February 2005. Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency
The Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in Central and Western Singapore. The five divisions consists: Buona Vista, Queenstown, Moulmein-Cairnhill, Tanjong Pagar- Tiong Bahru and Henderson-Dawson. HarbourFront MRT Station
HarbourFront MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station in Singapore. The termini of the North East line (NEL) and Circle line (CCL), the station serves the HarbourFront area and Sentosa. Surrounding retail and commercial developments include VivoCity and HarbourFront Centre, and the station is near HarbourFront Bus Interchange and the Singapore Cruise Centre. The NEL station was first announced as World Trade Centre MRT station in March 1996 as one of the line's 16 stations. Its construction involved several road diversions and the opening of the drainage culverts. The NEL station was completed on 20 June 2003. The CCL platforms opened on 8 October 2011 along with Stages 4 and 5 of the line. Koo Tsai Kee (; born 29 November 1954) is a Singaporean associate professor and former politician. He was a Member of Parliament from 1991 to 2011, representing the Tiong Bahru division under the Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency (Tanjong Pagar GRC).
