Judith Weinshall Liberman (; born 1929) is an Israeli artist who is known for the '' Holocaust Wall Hangings'', a series of sixty loose-hanging fabric banners of varying sizes created between 1988 and 2002 depicting the plight of the Jewish people and other minorities during the Holocaust of World War II. Early life Judith Weinshall Liberman was born in 1929 and grew up in Haifa, Mandatory Palestine (present-day Israel) during the years of the Holocaust. ''Liberman'' is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton, released in the US on October 23, 2015 and in the UK and Europe on April 29, through Dine Alone Records. It is the follow-up to Carlton's 2011 album '' Rabbits on the Run'' and marks her first release since signing with Dine Alone Records. The title of the album comes from an oil painting made by Carlton's late grandfather, whose given surname was Liberman. Raquel Liberman (10 July 1900 – 7 April 1935) was a Polish-Jewish immigrant to Argentina, a victim of human trafficking. Her denouncement of her traffickers led to the breaking up of the Jewish human-trafficking network from Poland, Zwi Migdal, which in the early 20th century operated a worldwide white-slavery ring.
