Liam Nolan (Muay Thai)
Liam Nolan is a British retired Muay Thai fighter. He competed for the ONE Championship organization and was the former WBC Muay Thai World Middleweight Champion. Biography and career Early years Nolan grew up in London where he tried Wing Chun and Taekwondo before switching to Muay Thai and settling at The Minotaur Gym, future Knowlesy Academy. Under the teaching of Christian Knowles, Nolan started to compete regularly at the age of 13 in both Muay Thai and kickboxing rules often against older opponents. By the time he was 16 years old Nolan had decided to leave school and pursue a professional career. On 4 March 2017 Nolan captured his first professional title when he defeated Dean Blunt by unanimous decision, becoming the IKF Pro Muay Thai British champion. World Muay Thai Council
The World Muaythai Council (WMC) is one of the oldest professional sanctioning organizations of Muaythai in the world for the sport. The organization was set up in 1995 by parliament resolution, and is incorporated by the Royal Thai Government and sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand, under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. The council has been charged with the responsibility for the expansion of Muaythai worldwide. This involves supporting youth interest and athletes to learn the skills of Muaythai. Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong (; born December 7, 1995) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer. He competes in the Lightweight division of ONE Championship. Rungrawee is the 2015 Isuzu Cup 70kg Tournament winner, EM Legend 75kg World Tournament winner, and 2020 EM Legend 77kg Champion. Outside of Muay Thai, he is a two-time bronze medalist in pencak silat at the 2021 and 2023 SEA Games in the men's 80kg division.
