Liam Gormley
Liam Gormley (born 19 March 1993), is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Rutherglen Glencairn in the West of Scotland Football League. He has previously appeared in the Scottish Football League First Division for Greenock Morton. Career As a youngster at Motherwell, Gormley was called up to the Scotland U16 squad for the 2008 Victory Shield, making two appearances. The following year, he also played twice for the U17's and moved to Celtic to sign his first professional contract. Despite winning numerous honours at youth level, including the 2010–11 Scottish Youth Cup where he scored the decisive goal in the final against Rangers in front of 9,427 fans at Hampden Park, Gormley did not make a first-team appearance at Celtic and was released in the summer of 2012. Gormley had trials at Birmingham City and Greenock Morton at the start of the 2012–13 season, and made one league appearance for the Cappielow club against Raith Rovers in September 2012. Bellshill
Bellshill (pronounced "Bells hill") is a town in North Lanarkshire in Scotland, southeast of Glasgow city centre and west of Edinburgh. Other nearby localities are Motherwell to the south, Hamilton to the southwest, Viewpark to the west, Holytown to the east and Coatbridge to the north. The town of Bellshill itself (including the villages of Orbiston and Mossend) has a population of about 20,650. Scottish Junior Football Association
The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football (soccer), football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its Scottish football league system, football league system until 2021. 2015–16 Scottish Cup
The 2015–16 Scottish Cup was the 131st season of Scotland's most prestigious football knockout competition. The tournament was sponsored by bookmaker William Hill in what was the fifth season of a five-year partnership. The final was contested between second-tier clubs ( Hibernian and Rangers) for the first time ever with no Premiership clubs reaching the final. The defending champions were Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who defeated Falkirk in the 2015 final, but were eventually knocked out in the Quarter Final after a replay by eventual champions, Hibernian. The Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL, commonly known as the Lowland League) is a senior football league based in central and southern Scotland. The league sits at level 5 on the Scottish football league system, acting as a feeder to the Scottish Professional Football League, and is above three regional leagues at level 6.
