Liam Duggan
Liam Duggan (born 11 December 1996) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for and co-captains the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Duggan played for Ballarat's St Patrick's College in the BAS school competition, the Western Jets at TAC Cup and Vic Metro in the National U18s. In 2014 the AIS-AFL Academy awarded him with the Ben Mitchell Medal. Duggan was drafted with pick 11 of the 2014 National Draft. He made his debut against in round 2 of the 2015 season. Duggan had a standout game in the 53 point victory over St Kilda Football Club in round 8, 2015. He racked up 23 disposals including six marks and four tackles, which impressed his older teammates, notably Luke Shuey. Western Jets
The Western Jets is an Australian rules football club which plays in the Victorian premier U19 competition, the NAB League, since its inception in 1992. The club have developmental squads in the U16, however much of the attention is towards its U18 team. The club is geographically set in Melbourne's West as part of a decision by AFL Victoria (formerly Football Victoria) to have clubs in all regions of the state. The club trains in Melbourne's inner west at Crofts Reserve in Altona North and plays NAB League matches at Burbank Oval in Williamstown. Their current coach is Robbie Chancellor, who replaced Ryan O’Keefe at the end of the 2020 season. The East Perth Football Club, nicknamed the Royals, is an Australian rules football club based in Leederville, Western Australia, current playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Formed in 1902 as the Union Football Club, the club entered the WAFL in 1906, changing its name to East Perth. It won its first premiership in 1919, part of a streak of five consecutive premierships. Overall, the club has won 17 premierships, most recently in 2002.
