Liam Boyle (actor)
Liam Boyle is a British actor. Life and career Boyle grew up in Heywood, Greater Manchester, England. It was in his final preparations for a teaching degree at University that Boyle was spotted by a casting director at an open audition for a film. Instead of going to the final interviews for his degree he made the decision to go to the recalls for the film, which fell on the same day. He was trained in drama at the Oldham Theatre Workshop. Whilst at college Boyle was auditioned by the casting agent David Shaw for a film called '' Love + Hate'', getting a small role in the film as ''Steve''. He has since appeared in various TV and film roles, including the awarding series ''The Street'', ''Instinct'' and ''Land Girls''. His most well known performance was as Elvis in the movie '' Awaydays''. Heywood, Greater Manchester
Heywood is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England, in the historic county of Lancashire. It had a population of 28,205 at the 2011 Census. The town lies on the south bank of the River Roch, east of Bury, southwest of Rochdale, and north of Manchester. Middleton lies to the south, whilst to the north is the Cheesden Valley, open moorland, and the Pennines. Heywood's nickname is Monkey Town. The Anglo-Saxons cleared the densely wooded area, dividing it into heys or fenced clearings. In the Middle Ages, Heywood formed a chapelry in the township, around Heywood Hall, a manor house owned by a family with that surname. ''The Innocence Project'' is a television drama series created by BBC Northern Ireland and first broadcast on BBC One on 9 November 2006. The series follows the work of Professor Jon Ford ( Lloyd Owen), who sets up ''The Innocence Project'', peopled entirely by a hand-picked group of law students. They take on cases pro bono that no one else will handle, or those that have been forgotten or given up on, working for clients that would otherwise have no hope, and who have possibly been wrongly convicted. The series is based on a British version of the Innocence Project, a non-profit legal clinic in the United States. ''Scott & Bailey'' is a British police procedural series that debuted on ITV on 29 May 2011 and concluded on 27 April 2016. The series stars Suranne Jones, Lesley Sharp, Amelia Bullmore, Nicholas Gleaves, Danny Miller and Pippa Haywood.
