Li Yunfeng
Li Yunfeng (; born March 1957) is a former Chinese politician who spent his career in Jiangsu province. He served as the secretary-general of the provincial party committee and the Executive Vice Governor of Jiangsu. He was investigated in May 2016 by the Communist Party's anti-graft agency, suspected of corruption. Biography Li was born in 1957 in Jurong County, Jiangsu. He obtained a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Peking University. He was a sent-down youth during the Cultural Revolution, performing manual labour. He joined the Communist Party in 1981 while he was attending university, and returned home after obtaining his degree. Upon returning home, Li initially worked as an instructor at the Zhenjiang party school. In August 1983 he began working as a secretary in the department overseeing the affairs of elderly cadres. A General Office (also known as "administrative office") is an important administrative political organ in the communist party organizations and communist countries (such as China, Laos and Vietnam for instance). The 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was elected by the 18th National Congress on 15 November 2012, and sat in plenary sessions until the communing of the 19th National Congress in 2017. It was formally proceeded by the 17th Central Committee. The committee is composed of full members and alternate members. A member has voting rights, while an alternate does not. If a full member is removed from the CC the vacancy is then filled by an alternate member at the next committee plenum — the alternate member who received the most confirmation votes in favour is highest on the order of precedence. Yang Weize
Yang Weize (; born October 1962) is a former Chinese politician. He was the Communist Party Secretary of Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, he served as the party secretary in the neighbouring city of Wuxi for seven years, and before that the Mayor of Suzhou. In 2015, Yang was put under investigation for corruption by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. He was tried and convicted on corruption charges and sentenced to twelve years and six months in prison in December 2016. Career Yang was born in Nantong, Jiangsu province in August 1962. He traces his ancestry to the Changzhou area. His father was a hospital administrator in the city of Nantong. Li Yuanchao
Li Yuanchao (born 20 November 1950) is a retired Chinese politician. He was the Vice President of the People's Republic of China from 2013 to 2018 and the Honorary President of the Red Cross Society of China. He was a member of the Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party and head of its Organization Department between 2007 and 2012. From 2002 to 2007, Li served as the Chinese Communist Party Secretary of Jiangsu, the top leader of an area of significant economic development. Between 2007 and 2017, he held a seat for two terms on the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party. Li Yuanchao played an important role in the reform and opening up under Chinese leaders Deng Xiaoping and Chen Yun.
