Lheedharifulhu
''Lheedharifulhu'' is a 1996 Maldivian film written and directed by Ahmed Sharumeel. Produced by Makhma Hussain Rasheed under Farivaa Films, the film stars Abdul Rahman Rauf, Zaneena, Ahmed Sharumeel, Mariyam Haajara and Haajara Abdul Kareem in pivotal roles. It narrates the downturn of a woman followed by hatred for her daughter-in-law. Premise After completing his studies, Sameer returns to his homeland as the headmaster of the school. Sameer's mother, Dhon Didi arranges his marriage with his childhood friend, Shehenaz, who is born and raised in a wealthy family. Dhon Didi's plans backfire when Sameer begins a romantic relationship with an underprivileged woman, Fathimath Sameeha. Dejected, she declares war against the married couple and determines to make Sameeha's life miserable at any cost. Haajara Abdul Kareem
Haajara Abdul Kareem was a Maldivian actress, writer, director and producer mostly known for her villainous and comical roles in feature films. Career Haajara played the role of Jameela, a poor woman who struggles in a second marriage, in Ahmed Sharmeel and Ibrahim Waheed's family drama film '' Dhon Manma'' (1992) alongside Ibrahim Shakir and Sharmeel. Easa Shareef
Easa Shareef is a Maldivian film director, actor, screen-writer, editor and lyricist. Career In 1993, Shareef collaborated with Yoosuf Rafeeu for his tragedy drama film ''Vaudhu'' (1993) which narrates the separation of a happy couple due to the societal differences. The following year, he directed and starred in the critically acclaimed film '' Zakham'' (1994) where he played the supportive brother of a young girl who has been forced to marry out of her will. In 1996, he directed the film '' Edhuvas Hingajje'' which follows the love triangle of a devoted wife, a reckless husband and his short tempered mistress. Mohamed Rashad
Mohamed Rashad (1952 – 2002) also referred as Madhaha Rashad was a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Rashad was born in 1952 in Male'. His father, Qasim Hussain was famously known for locals as "Naivaadhoo Kasim" and "Reendhoo Kasim". His mother, Hawwa Idhurees was a homemaker. He had one brother as a sibling and ten others as half-siblings including notable local artists, Ali Rameez, Ibrahim Rameez and Rafiyath Rameeza. At a very young age, persuaded by his "undying love for music", Rashad was accompanied by the music group "Maafannu Fiyaathoshi Club" to lift and transport their music instruments.
