Lewiston High School (LHS) is a public high school in Lewiston, Maine, United States. The school was founded in 1850 and has occupied its current building since 1973.The school mascot is the Blue Devil and the colors are blue and white. The new principal is Jonathan Radtke. From the 1930s to 1973 the high school was located on Central Ave and that building currently serves as Lewiston Middle School. Sports Lewiston competes in Maine's Class A division for sports, the highest class in the state (except for basketball, which competes in AA), as governed by the Maine Principals' Association. Lewiston is also a member of the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference. The school is particularly known for its cheerleading and boys soccer teams. Poland is a town in Androscoggin County, Maine, United States. The population was 5,906 at the 2020 census. Set among rolling hills and numerous lakes, the town is home to Range Ponds State Park, which includes hiking trails and a pristine freshwater beach. Poland is also a historic resort area. Edward Little High School
Edward Little High School is a public high school in Auburn, Maine, United States that was first established as Lewiston Falls Academy in 1835. Philanthropist Edward Little donated and considerable money to the academy, which was named in his honor. The school is now situated on a tract of land overlooking the city from the top of Goff Hill in Auburn Heights. Isaiah Harris (born October 18, 1996) is an American middle-distance runner. He competed in the Men's 800 metres at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics. Early Running Career Isaiah Harris was born in Lewiston, Maine. He competed for the Lewiston Blue Devils Cross Country and Outdoor Track & Field teams in high school. While he did not run for the cross country or track teams as a freshman, Isaiah's talent and work ethic was apparent early on, as he had won the 800 meter run and triple jump at the Andy Valley Middle School Championship as an 8th grader.
