Lew Morgan
Lewis Morgan (30 April 1911 – 22 September 1988) was a Scottish professional footballer player who played as a right back. Born in Cowdenbeath, Morgan represented Scotland at schoolboy level and played for various Scottish junior clubs before joining Dundee in 1931. He represented the Scottish League in 1933. Morgan transferred to English side Portsmouth two years later, playing mostly at left back, and he was part of the Portsmouth team that beat Wolves 4–1 in the 1939 FA Cup Final. Cowdenbeath
Cowdenbeath (; sco, Coudenbeith) is a town and burgh in west Fife, Scotland. It is north-east of Dunfermline and north of the capital, Edinburgh. The town grew up around the extensive coalfields of the area and became a police burgh in 1890. According to a 2008 estimate, the town has a population of 14,081. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA).
