Levita Adalbert
Adalbert of Egmond (also called Æthelberht of Egmond) (died in Egmond) was a Northumbrian Anglo-Saxon missionary. He was one of Willibrord's companions in preaching the gospel in Holland and Frisia. Biography Adalbert (or Æthelberht) is said to have been born in Northumbria, a member of the Northumbrian royal family. According to some sources, Adalbert studied at the Rath Melsigi) in Ireland with Egbert. Around 690 he went to assist Willibrord (who had also been at Rath Melsigi) in the mission field of Frisia. According to Alcuin's late eighth-century ''Vita Willibrordi archiepiscopi Traiectensis'', they landed near Domburg. Adelbert became associated particularly with Egmond. Benedict Levita
Benedict Levita (of Mainz), or Benedict the Deacon, is the pseudonym attached to a forged collection of capitularies that appeared in the ninth century. The collection belongs to the group of pseudo-Isidorian forgeries that includes the false decretals ascribed to Isidorus Mercator, the so-called Capitula Angilramni, and a series of reworked extracts from the Council of Chalcedon. Author Benedictus Levita, using what is obviously an assumed name, claims in his prefatory remarks to have been a deacon in the church of Mainz. He says that he assembled his collection from materials he found in the archiepiscopal archives of Mainz, at the command of the late Archbishop Otgar (d. 847). Though earlier scholars were inclined to believe some of these statements, modern authors agree that Benedict's preface is entirely fictional. Cecil Levita
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Cecil Bingham Levita (18 January 1867 – 10 October 1953) was a British soldier and public service worker who eventually rose to be chairman of the London County Council in 1928. Career British Army Levita attended the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich and was commissioned a lieutenant in the Royal Artillery in 1886. He started his career as a soldier serving in the Second Matabele War and the Second Boer War where he was A.D.C. to Lieutenant-General Sir Baker Russell. He was later appointed a special service officer and a D.A.A.G. in the Natal Field Force. He was mentioned in dispatches and awarded the Queen's medal with three clasps. He was created an MVO in 1901, and promoted to Major 5 February 1902. He retired from the army in October 1909. During the First World War he was recalled from the reserve to serve as General Staff Officer. Elia Levita (13 February 146928 January 1549) (), also known as Elijah Levita, Elias Levita, Élie Lévita, Elia Levita Ashkenazi, Eliahu Levita, Eliyahu haBahur ("Elijah the Bachelor"), Elye Bokher, was a Renaissance Hebrew grammarian, scholar, and poet. Ohad Levita (; born 17 February 1986) is an Israeli footballer who plays for Bnei Yehuda. Club career Levita played for local side Hapoel Kfar Saba, making his first team debut at the age of seventeen in the Israeli Premier League match against F.C. Ashdod. Saint Sossius or Sosius (Italian: ''Sosso'', ''Sossio'' or ''Sosio''; 275 – 305 AD) was Deacon of Misenum, an important naval base of the Roman Empire in the Bay of Naples.
