Leviathan (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
Leviathan (), also called the Leviathan Horde, is a fictional Soviet-based terrorist organization appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Leviathan first appeared in '' Dark Reign: The List - Secret Warriors'' and was created by Jonathan Hickman and Stefano Caselli. Fictional organization history Little is known of this mysterious organization, save that it was born out of the Communist Bloc in the same way that Hydra was born out of the Axis powers, and that Leviathan brought 100,000 of the Eastern Bloc's finest Cold War agents to the facility known as Cold Storage, where the majority were placed in cryonic suspension until needed. Secret Warriors (2009 Series)
''Secret Warriors'' is a 2009 comic book ongoing series published by Marvel Comics, the series focuses mainly on Nick Fury and his secret teams ( Team White being one off), which the title is referencing to as well as members of other hidden groups, such as the ones from Hydra. The series was written by Brian Michael Bendis and Jonathan Hickman, with art by Stefano Caselli. The series ran for 28 issues and ended in 2011. Publication history The series has been published in several collected editions, two for each storyline with one version in hardcover and the other in trade paperback format. The hardcover for the first storyline was published with the tagline: "The greater sin is doing nothing when you could be giving everything...of dreaming too small. I will be the ONE MAN." Dark Reign (comics)
Dark Reign is a 2008 to 2009 comic book branding used by Marvel Comics. It deals with the aftermath of the "Secret Invasion" storyline, which resulted in a shift of power in the Marvel Universe toward Norman Osborn. The title refers to Osborn's rise to national power and the ramifications thereof. Joe Quesada, then-editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, stated that "Dark Reign is not really an event, it's what's happening in the Marvel Universe." He believes that "Dark Reign leads to an interesting place in the Marvel Universe. I think you'll see a pulling back at the end of Dark Reign, but you'll understand at the end of it what we were trying to get to."
