Coesfeld
Coesfeld (; Westphalian: ''Koosfeld'') is the capital of the district of Coesfeld in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. History Coesfeld received its city rights in 1197, but was first recorded earlier than that in the biography of St. Ludger, patron and first bishop of the diocese of Munster who was born north of Coesfeld in Billerbeck. The day before he died, Ludger spent the night in Coesfeld and heard mass in the morning in the church he founded. He was on his way from his abbey in Essen to Münster. The road he followed passed Coesfeld and Billerbeck, and after preaching in the St. Lambert's church, 26 March 809, he travelled on to Billerbeck, where he died in the evening. The Coesfeld St. Jacobikirche dates from the same period as the city charter. Henry Lette
Henry Elmes Lette (christened 10 August 1829 – 15 August 1892) was an Australian cricketer and politician. His middle name is frequently misreported as "Elms". Cricket Lette was a left-arm underarm bowler who played for Tasmania. He was born in Curramore and died in Launceston. Lette made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1851–52 season, against Victoria. From the lower order, he scored 2 runs in the first innings in which he batted, and a duck in the second. Lette bowled 29 overs in the match, taking 7 wickets. Politics Lette represented Launceston in the House of Assembly from November 1862, and was Chairman of Committees of the Tasmanian House of Assembly from July 1877 to 1892. Kathy Lette
Kathryn Marie Lette (born 11 November 1958) is an Australian-British author whose works have been best-sellers. Early life Lette was born on 11 November 1958 in Sydney's southern suburbs. She appeared in ''The Sydney Morning Herald'' of 20 August 1978 pictured in Martin Place with her friend Gabrielle Carey in an article titled "Buskers Lose Freak Tag". They were standing up for buskers' rights not to be moved on as Sydney City Council enforced a 1919 Act of Parliament in New South Wales. Career Lette first attracted attention in 1979 as the co-author (with Gabrielle Carey) of '' Puberty Blues'', a strongly autobiographical, proto-feminist teen novel about two 13-year-old southern suburbs girls attempting to improve their social status by ingratiating themselves with the "Greenhills gang" of surfers.
