The fourth album of Les Luthiers Les Luthiers is an Argentine comedy-musical group, very popular also in several other Spanish language, Spanish-speaking countries including Paraguay, Guatemala, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Bolivia, Cuba, Costa Rica an ..., released in November 1976. From now on, there are no individual credits for the songwriters, although it's been confirmed later that both 'Teresa y el oso' and 'Doctor Bob Gordon...' were composed by Ernesto Acher, with script (on the former) by Marcos Mundstock. 'Serenata Mariachi' originated from Lopez Puccio and Maronna, and then it was revised lyrically by Mundstock and musically by Acher. As for 'Mi aventura por la India' and 'La yegua mia', actual authorship has never been officially confirmed, and the public's relied on educated guesses. Les Luthiers
Les Luthiers is an Argentine comedy-musical group, very popular also in several other Spanish language, Spanish-speaking countries including Paraguay, Guatemala, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Bolivia, Cuba, Costa Rica and Venezuela. They were formed in 1967 by Gerardo Masana, during the height of a period of very intense choral, choral music activity in Argentina's state universities. Their outstanding characteristic is the custom made instrument, home-made musical instruments (hence the name ''luthiers'', French language, French for "musical instrument maker"), some of them extremely sophisticated, which they skillfully employ in their recitals to produce music and texts full of high class and refined humor. From 1977 until his death in 2007, they worked with Roberto Fontanarrosa, a renowned Argentine cartoonist and writer. Mastropiero Que Nunca
Mastropiero que nunca was a theatrical humour/music show by Les Luthiers. It was first performed on Friday 9 September 1977 and last done on Sunday 27 February 1983 (although it was headlining only during 1977 and 1978). It consisted of nine new (never performed previously) live numbers, which ranged from a madrigal to a salsa skit. It was the first show where Les Luthiers experimented with the use of light as a dramatic element, collaborating with stage lighting professional Tito Diz. The album recorded live in the Teatro Coliseo, Buenos Aires.
