Kirk Leroy Miller professionally known as Leroy Miller (born February 19, 1965) is an American musician from Spokane, Washington. Career Leroy has had two songs that have been featured on the TV series ''Scrubs'', and one on the series ''Arrested Development''. His song "New World" was featured on the ''10 Things I Hate About You'' soundtrack. His song "Good Time" was featured in the films '' Driven'' and ''Laurel Canyon''. In the summer of 2008, he joined Smash Mouth as a guitarist to replace Greg Camp, who had just left the band. Driven (2001 Film)
''Driven'' is a 2001 American sports action film directed by Renny Harlin and starring Sylvester Stallone, who also wrote and produced. The film centers on a young racing driver's effort to win the CART FedEx Championship Series auto racing championship. Prior to production, Stallone was seen at many Formula One races, but he was unable to procure enough information about the category due to the secrecy with which teams protect their cars, so he decided to base the film on CART. Released on April 27, 2001, ''Driven'' received generally negative reviews from critics, and was a commercial failure. ''Heavier Things'' is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter John Mayer, released on September 9, 2003 by Aware and Columbia Records. It debuted at #1 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, selling over 317,000 copies in its first week. Despite some criticism towards Mayer's songwriting, ''Heavier Things'' received generally positive reviews. Background Mayer felt he could be more relaxed focused on his art while making ''Heavier Things''. With Jack Joseph Puig as producer, loops and horns were more prominently featured. Mayer took greater control of the creative side with this album; much of it was recorded in his New York City apartment. He also got final approval on all radio edits. John Clayton Mayer ( ; born October 16, 1977) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, but he left for Atlanta in 1997 with fellow guitarist Clay Cook, with whom he formed the short-lived rock duo Lo-Fi Masters.
