Leon Lett
Leon Lett Jr. (born October 12, 1968) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys. Lett played college football for the Emporia State Hornets football, Emporia State Hornets and was selected in the seventh round of the 1991 NFL draft by the Cowboys, where he spent 10 seasons. During his final season in 2001, he played for the Denver Broncos. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Lett was a member of the Cowboys teams that won three Super Bowls during the 1990s. He is also remembered for two botched plays – a fumble before scoring a touchdown in Super Bowl XXVII and a failed recovery after a blocked field goal in a NFL on Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving game – although he would help his team win the Super Bowl in both seasons. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that typically lines up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the Guard (American football), offensive guards; however, he may also line up opposite one of the offensive Tackle (gridiron football position), tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. In gridiron football, a sack occurs when the quarterback (or another offensive player acting as a passer) is tackle (football move), tackled behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a forward pass, when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the "passing pocket, pocket" and without clear intent, or when a passer runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage due to defensive pressure. Raymond, Mississippi
Raymond is a city in Hinds County, Mississippi, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,933; in 2020, its population was 1,960.
