Emulsion (band)
An emulsion is a mixture of two or more liquids that are normally immiscible (unmixable or unblendable) owing to liquid-liquid phase separation. Emulsions are part of a more general class of two-phase systems of matter called colloids. Although the terms ''colloid'' and ''emulsion'' are sometimes used interchangeably, ''emulsion'' should be used when both phases, dispersed and continuous, are liquids. In an emulsion, one liquid (the dispersed phase) is dispersed in the other (the continuous phase). Examples of emulsions include vinaigrettes, homogenized milk, liquid biomolecular condensates, and some cutting fluids for metal working. Two liquids can form different types of emulsions. As an example, oil and water can form, first, an oil-in-water emulsion, in which the oil is the dispersed phase, and water is the continuous phase. Robert Scott Thompson
Robert Scott Thompson (born 1959, California) is a composer of ambient, instrumental and electroacoustic music. He earned the B.Mus. degree from the University of Oregon and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, San Diego. His primary teachers include Bernard Rands, Roger Reynolds, Joji Yuasa and F. Richard Moore. He creates work in a wide variety of forms ranging from chamber and orchestral music to works for the virtuoso soloist, computer music, and experimental video art. Mr Russia is an American garage rock band from Chicago, Illinois, on Lens Records. The band is made up of Ivan (Vocals/Bass) and Josh (Drums). Excluding guitar from the band's instrumentation, Mr Russia has a unique sound notably drawing inspiration from Bob Haggart's Big Noise From Winnetka. Mr Russia has been compared to modern guitar free band Death from Above 1979, as well as hard-to-pinpoint sources such as XTC and Magazine. Melter (band)
The Melter is the name of three fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The original Melter, Bruno Horgan, first appeared in '' Tales of Suspense'' #47 (Nov. 1963). He was both an enemy to Iron Man and a founding member of the Masters of Evil. Publication history The character debuted in '' Tales of Suspense'' #47 (Nov. 1963) and was created by Stan Lee and Sam Rosen. He was an industrialist who specializes in providing munitions to the United States government. After an initial encounter with hero Iron Man, the character reappears in ''The Avengers'' #6 (Jul. 1964) as part of supervillain team the Masters of Evil.
