Lenny Ried
Lenny Ried (born 1 July 2007) is a German racing driver from Ehingen. He is set to compete in the 2025 Eurocup-3 season with Sparco Palou MS. Career Karting Ried has an impressive karting résumé, especially in his native Germany. From 2017 to 2018, he competed in Bambini karting, where he secured a best championship result of 2nd in the ADAC Kart Masters. For the next three years, he went on to compete on OK-Junior karts, where his most successful year came in 2021, finishing 6th in both the Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft and the ADAC Kart Masters. He moved up to join the OK category in 2022, and immediately found himself at home by winning the ADAC Kart Masters. Ried then competed in gearbox karting in 2023, in preparation for Formula 4. KZ (karting)
KZ is a kart racing class for drivers aged 15 and over, sanctioned by the CIK-FIA. KZ is the primary gearbox class in FIA championships. The class was originally called Formula C (FC), first introduced in 1974 at the European Championship as the first gearbox class in international kart racing. FC was contested at the World Championship from 1983 until 2000. In 2002—after 28 seasons of racing—FC was replaced by Super-ICC (S-ICC) and downgraded to World Cup status. OK Junior
OK-Junior is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 11 to 15 (drivers must reach the age of 12 within the first semester of calendar year). This class used to be called Junior Intercontinental A (JICA or ICA-J) and has changed since January 2007 when CIK- FIA decided to replace the 100 cc air-cooled two-stroke engines with 125 cc Touch-and-Go (TaG) water-cooled two-stroke engines (KF type).The engines produce . The chassis and engines must be approved by the CIK-FIA. Minimum weight is 145 kg, including kart and driver. Karts are equipped with an electric starter and clutch.
