Len Komoroski
Leonard Albert Komoroski (born February 21, 1960) is an American businessman and sports executive. He formerly served as chief executive officer of Rock Entertainment Group, the umbrella entity that oversees the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, the Cleveland Monsters in the AHL, the Cleveland Charge in the NBA G League, and the operation of Rocket Arena in Cleveland. Early life Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Komoroski earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University in 1982. While attending college, Komoroski was a four-year letterman of the tennis team, writer for The Duquesne Duke, and the president of Public Relations Society of America. Rocket Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The building is the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL). It also serves as a secondary arena for Cleveland State Vikings men's and women's basketball. Helmy Eltoukhy is an American scientist and a businessperson who co-founded startups Avantome and Guardant Health. He is best known for his contributions to genomics, semiconductor DNA sequencing, and personalized medicine. His startups were acquired by Illumina in 2008. Avantome was founded to develop and commercialize semiconductor-based DNA sequencing, during the race for the $1,000 genome. Guardant Health was founded to pioneer non-invasive liquid biopsy approaches for cancer diagnosis, monitoring, personalized medicine treatment, and research. The Lake Erie Crushers (often referred as the Grapes) are a professional baseball team based in Avon, Ohio.
