Lemon (developer)
Lemon was a video game developer founded in 1994 by Søren Hannibal and Jacob Andersen, who had previously been members of a demoscene group of the same name. Lemon created the voxel-based 3D shooter '' Amok'', for Sega Saturn and PC. A PlayStation version was underway but was ultimately cancelled. Programmer Martin Pollas joined in 1996 to work on the PC version of ''Amok''. When Lemon's publisher, Scavenger, went bankrupt the team split up. Søren went to work for Shiny Entertainment (creating the Matrix games) while Jacob and Martin joined up with the remaining members of Zyrinx to form Reto-Moto ( ''Hitman'' series and '' Freedom Fighters'') in 1998. Zyrinx
Zyrinx was a video game developer founded in 1992 in Copenhagen, Denmark. It consisted exclusively of people who had been active in the Amiga demo scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including composer Jesper Kyd. The first game developed by Zyrinx was Subterrania for the Sega Mega Drive. During the development, the team relocated to Boston. Later, the team developed the games Red Zone and Scorcher. Zyrinx's 3D rendering technology was showcased in a Sega 32X promotion video. Core Design Limited (known as Rebellion (Derby) Ltd between 2006 and 2010) was a British video game developer based in Derby. Founded in May 1988 by former Gremlin Graphics employees, it originally bore the name Megabrite until rebranding as Core Design in October the same year. The company was acquired by umbrella company CentreGold in December 1994, which in turn was acquired by Eidos Interactive in April 1996. In May 2006, the Core Design personnel and assets were acquired by Rebellion Developments, and the company became Rebellion Derby, which was then shut down in March 2010. Amiga is a family of personal computers introduced by Commodore International, Commodore in 1985. ''Freedom Fighters'' is a 2003 third-person shooter video game for the PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox and Microsoft Windows. It was developed by IO Interactive and published by Electronic Arts. The game is set in an alternate history in which the Soviet Union has invaded and occupied New York City. Hitman is a Danish stealth video game franchise created by IO Interactive. The player controls a clone assassin called Agent 47, who is assigned by the International Contract Agency to eliminate targets from around the world. Gameplay focuses heavily on a form of stealth coined social stealth. As such, players can find themselves donning clothing of others as a form of disguise to blend into their environments. These disguises let the player access areas or gameplay elements not normally present to them without one. Missions can be completed without disguises, however this is challenging. Reto-Moto ApS is a Danish video game developer based in Copenhagen. Founded in 1997, its staff formed IO Interactive as a joint venture in September 1998. Following a decade of inactivity, some founders reformed Reto-Moto in April 2008, and the company developed '' Heroes & Generals'', which was released in September 2016.
